ABSTRACT
Objective To study the association between brachial-ankle index (BAI) and severe subclavian artery stenosis.Methods Seventy severe subclavian artery stenosis patients with a stenosis rate ≥70％ admitted to our hospital served as a stenosis group and 70 subclavian artery stenosis-free patients served as a control group in this study.Their BAI,pulse wave upstroke time (UT) and pulse wave form were recorded with a noninvasive automatic peripheral arterial device.The sensitivity,specificity,accuracy,positive and negative prediction value of BAI in diagnosis of subclavian artery stenosis were calculated.Results The BAI of stenosis-involved extrmities was significantly lower while the pulse wave UT was significantly longer in stenosis group than in control group (0.6±0.1 vs 0.9±0.1 and 0.9±0.1,261.0±11.8 vs 188.0±12.1 ms and 186.0±12.6 ms,P＜0.01).The low obtuse pulse wave form and low plain pulse wave form were detected respectively in stenosis involved extrmities of 58 patients (82.9％) and 11 patients (15.7％) of stenosis group.The sensitivity,specifity,accuracy,positive and negative prediction value of BAI in diagnosis of severe subclavian artery stenosis were 44.3％,92.9％,68.6％,86.1％ and 62.5％ respectively.Conclusion The specifity,positive prediction value and accuracy of BAI＜ 0.70 are rather high in diagnosis of severe subclavian artery stenosis.
ABSTRACT
Objective:To explore the effects of cognitive-behavioral group therapy on relieving social anxiety of medical students and thus improve the communication ability of medical students. Methods: The medical students with social anxiety in our school were randomly divided into two groups. The subjects in the control group and the experiment group were given with the routine mental health education and the cognitive-behavioral group therapy respectively. The cognitive, emotional, and behavioral levels were measured before and after intervention using Interaction Anxious-ness Scale ( IAS ) , Fear of Negative Evaluation Scale ( FNE ) , Social Avoidance and Distress Scale ( SAD) , and in order to evaluate the effects of cognitive-behavioral group therapy. Results:After the intervention of cognitive-behavioral group therapy in medical students, all the three levels of anxiety were im-proved significantly in the experimental group than those in the control group ( P<0 . 05 ) . Conclusion:Cognitive-behavioral group therapy could effectively decrease the level of social anxiety for medical students.

Objective To develop the detection method of common fungal pathogens by general primer PCR.Methods The primers were designed from the target genes of 5.8S rDNA and 28S rDNA of fungi,and the specificity and sensitivity were observed.Results The general primer PCR can be used to detected C.albicans,C.parapsilosis,C.krusei,C.glabrata,C.tropicalis,C.neoformans,A.fumigatus,A.flavus,A.nidulans,A.niger,C.carrionii,P.verrucosa,S.schenckii,F.pedrosoi,T.rubrum,T.mentagrophytes,M.gypseum,M.canis,E.floccosum,M.racemosus,the sensitivity was 15 pg/ml of DNA.Conclusion The general primer PCR can be used to detect common fungal pathogens.
ABSTRACT
Objective To optimize the extraction process of neohesperidin in Fructus Aurantii Immaturus.Methods The optimum proess was investigated by L9(34) orthogonal design with the content of neohesperidin as the observation index.Results Extraction times were the main factors for neohesperidin extraction.The optimal process condition was as follows:adding 6-fold 70 %ethanol,extracting for 3 times,one hour for each extraction.Conclusion The optimal extraction technology of neohesperidin in Fructus Aurantii Immaturus is stable and reliable.
ABSTRACT
Objective To study the content difference of naringin in Fructus Aurantii Immaturus of different specifications.Methods HPLC was performed on the Merck- Lichrospher RP-C18(4.6 mm? 250 mm, 5 ? m) with temperature of 35 ℃ .The chromatographic conditions for naringin:the mobile phase consisting of acetonitrile-0.3 % Phosphoric acid(20 ∶ 80), at the flow rate of 1 mL/min, and the detection wavelength at 283 nm. Results The content of naringin increased with the diameter of Fructus Aurantii Immature slices.Conclusion It is suggested that there exists significant differences in intrinsic quality among Fructus Aurantii Immaturus of different specifications.
